Registered nurses (RGN)
Child nurse- A child nurse should have the knowledge to interpret a Childs behaviour and reactions intelligently because a child may not be able to communicate in such way also children's nurses need to be able to spot when a child's health takes a turn for the worse.
Iv therapy nurse- As an Intravenous therapy nurse the main role is to deliver medications. Also Intravenous therapy nurses can also be used for chemotherapy.
Community nurse- community nurses visit people in their own homes or in residential care homes, providing care for patients and supporting family members.
Domiciliary nurse- domiciliary Nurses support and help Patients with personal care and household tasks for the frail or those with long term care needs.
Other Nurses
General nurse- General Nurse’s work alongside other nurses, support staff and doctors
Chemotherapy nurse- Chemotherapy nurse is a registered nurse who cares for and educates patients who have cancer.
Occupational nurse- Occupational health nurses are registered nurses who specialize in caring for the health and wellbeing of people at work.
Health visitor nurse- The role of the health visitor is incredibly varied and you will find yourself working with a range of different people and in a range of settings.
What you required to work as a RGN!
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Have a UK/EU passport or appropriate visa
- Undertake an Enhanced DBS check (If you don’t have we will arrange ).
- Vaccination
- NMC number
